We celebrated Mackenzie's first birthday in November. We had lots of friends and family over to celebrate the big day. The theme was ladybugs and we had a blast searching high and low for everything related to ladybugs to decorate with. We had a bounce house to entertain the little ones and fresh popcorn to go along with the yummy cake.
We just got her 9 month pictures back and they are amazing. I can't say enough nice things about Kim at Kimography photos. She is amazing!!!! See what you think!
I know I am almost two weeks late but I had to add Mackenzie's Easter Picture. We had a great Easter. Jason's sister Lisa and her husband Dirk came down and stayed the night with us. Such a great relaxing time.
We have been so busy we haven't updated our blog in way too long. Mackenzie is such a joy to be around and we just love spending as much time as we can with her. These are a few pictures from her four month pictures. In May we are going to be taking her 6 month pics. Where does the time go?
I went to the grocery store yesterday to pick up a few things that we needed for dinner. When I pulled into the drive way there was Jason with Mackenzie in his arms and who was he talking to????? Santa Claus. That's right...Santa was at my door and his red corvette was parked outside. He was actually at the wrong house...he was supposed to be at my neighbors house but what a great treat! We went over there later and Mac had her picture taken for the third time with Santa. (We had been to the mall the day before and had it done there as well.)
I can't beleive it is already Christmas time! This year has flown by. We have had many trying times but also a wonderful one....little Mackenzie. She amazes me everyday. She totally has Jason and I wrapped around her tiny fingers.
Mac's first picture with Santa! Doesn't she look excited...
We only had to stay at the hospital for one night...but it seemed like so much longer. We were just so ready to get our precious girl home. We ended up coming home on the 11th (Jason's birthday) in the evening. We are slowly but surely settling into a routine. She seems to have her days and nights confused but other than that she is a wonderful baby who hardly ever cries and is very content. Here are some pics of her first week at home.
